Murphy -- who is respectable -- waves off the main question with jokes. McCain showed poor judgment and there is no Republican operative ready to admit that. Murphy is right that we should "lay off the kid." That's immaterial, besides, there are so many more scandals ready to explode about Palin, as the questioner pointed out.
