A tribute to President Gerald Ford and performance of the National Anthem by the Michigan Marching Band at the Rose Bowl, January 1, 2007, as covered by ABC.

Immediately after the Rose Bowl game, about half the band boarded a charter red-eye flight to Grand Rapids, MI, where they attended to the arrival of President Ford's remains on Air Force One early on January 2. They performed Hail to the Chief, the Yellow and Blue (Michigan's alma mater), and a slow version of The Victors on the tarmac next to Air Force One.
