Attract mode demo for Namco's 1992 answer to Capcom's Street Fighter 2 known as Knuckle Heads. The interesting aspect in this game is that as it's shown on the video, Knuckle Heads is one of the few games where more than 2 players (up to 4 players) could duke it out Street Fighter style (and this was 7 years before Nintendo released their 4 player fighter known as Super Smash Brothers).

Interesting Facts:
*the names of the two female characters (Christine Myao and Claudia Silva) appear on a soul edge shirt on a stage in 1996's Dancing Eyes.

  • The only character from this game available for the fighting game engine M.U.G.E.N is the protagonist/main icon, Rob Vincent, converted by envymask666.

  • sweet, i often played as Robert

  • a small update for you KH fans, Namco Bandai mentioned that one of the games which will be eventually released in the japanese edition of the Virtual Console Arcade for the Wii will be Knuckle Heads. It's still unknown if it'll reach US and Europe though

  • Knowing Namco, it probably won't.

  • yeah, and even though it was released in the US, it didn't garner enough attention from the fans who were enthralled with Street Fighter II (and the Champion Edition which came out in '92)

  • @chucky78596: I would like to see Claudia Silva (the chick you were talking about) and the other chick from this game, Christine Myao, brought back in Tekken 7, but I know that's highly unlikely.

  • @figment1988: I just played this game on MAME, and while I didn't think it was anything special, I did enjoy the theme music of those two characters. I wish I could find a rip of the soundtrack.

  • this reminds me of World Heroes

  • tekken and soul series redeemed namco
