Thanks to you and others who did this. I have been Type 1 for nearly 50 years, but my cat was just diagnosed.... didn't know how to begin testing. Kitties can't identify 'lows" for you- it's a worry! We are on the right track now.

Thanks for the video. One of my kitties just got diagnosed and when I was reading how to use the meter it looks kind of complicated, so thanks for making me feel better. :D I'll be doing it all day Saturday (to get the curve).

I think my kitty may have diabetes--I'm going to the vet in 4 days, so I'll find out then, so I trying to see that I'm in store for. Thank you. This was really helpful.
Thank you for posting this. It shows that this can be done without making your cat afraid. Your kitty is such a good boy and adorable too.

@kittymamma13 Not a problem. Actually this was done so long ago that I don't even bribe him with food anymore. I just say the word Test and he knows to come and he sits peacefully. Very lucky to have a calm diabetic!!

Thanks so much for making this video. My cat was recently diagnosed and I'm starting home testing today. It was great to see you do this and make it look simple. Good luck with Smokey.
