when the music changes as soon as you see the meteor, don't you think of (SPOILER ALERT) FF7 when you see meteor about to demolish Midgar

all I know is that the one part in this game where the evil wizard takes control of the flying tower and pwns the whole frickin world and freezes over an entire city is hella badass. I was like, "Whoa..."

well after 3 rounds lying around or so, they come to life automatically.

If you read some of the dreams or whatever they are youll see it says that they cant be killed at all. Obviously if they can be killed kaim wouldve died in the beggining of the game (along with the girl with the blue hair but i cant remember her name). They dont "die" anyways if you wait a few turns the immortal characters will come back to life.

Immortal /= Invincible.
They can be killed but they wont die from natural causes.
