A newsflash on the big screen
the four riders yelled IMPROVE
I thought I heard the thunder coming
but nobody moved
the whiskey flowed like water
as the ground gave way
everybody was placing bets
too busy to even pray
you shrugged your shoulders said let's go
to reality row

from that borderline lagoon
back to the city
and some old rented room
