Super Mario RPG: Remix Beta Walkthrough Part 5

This is a walkthrough of the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars hack, Remix Beta! It is not a speed-run. I will show you how to collect everything. No cheats were used.

In this part I explore Mushroom Kingdom, get Mallow, stock up on items and find 3 Hidden Chests.

This hack does not change any graphics in the game, but instead focuses on remixing the game and creating a definite challenge. Significant changes to the game include:

# Enemy + boss AI has been completely changed and is often much harder than before
# Battle dialogue (events/Psychopath) has been changed accordingly to accompany this
# Character/enemy/boss stats are all changed immensely; one notable difference is that the max character level is now level 50 as opposed to level 30.
# Character and enemy spells have all mostly had stat or effect changes
# Items/equipment/store inventories have all been changed.
# Item/equipment descriptions are actually extremely helpful now!
# To sum it up, if you loved the original SMRPG but are tired of acing it, this hack is perfect because it makes the experience refreshing and much more difficult (example: Bowyer casting Arrow Rain).

I havn't really explained it well in the description which is why I'm soon going to edit the description. This is a hack of Super Mario RPG called "Remix Beta". It's a strange name I know but you should really try it! What it does is make the game about 3 times harder by changing all the stats of enemies to make them harder. It's a really fun challenge if you've beat the original and want a challenge. It doesn't change the map or anything but changes the effect and price of some items. It rocks!

I'm don't really go to gamefaqs anymore due to their intolerance toward the modding community. But anyway, I don't mind you making these videos at all, partially because I didn't make the hack. I had obtained it and saw that most people couldn't access it the way I did, so I decided to make it available this way.

So continue on with these videos. Hopefully it will make it well known enough to have the author finish his work and make it more accessible.
