My thesis project, Abraxas, is based on a quite from Hermann Hesse's Demian, "Whoever wants to be born, must destroy a world." Abraxas appears as the dark and the light. The light informs a creation. A solid mass is broken to transform to a new object when the light hits. The eye is a mediator between outer and inner worlds; it always works with the light. The girl sees her own thought through the eye's substitution, which is made by the light. I made this thesis on the assumption that light exhibits properties of particles.
