An Island Calling (Murder in the Pacific)

An Island Calling is a truly "post-colonial" tale that revolves around a brutal double murder of a gay male couple, one of who was a human rights worker, in Fiji in mid-2001. Through exploring the incident's context, this film reveals deep historical, social and political currents that circulate throughout the Pacific. However, the documentary is, as much, an intimate story of two very different families.

Directed by Annie Goldson, an Occasional Production.

Out of every human tragedy lies the spirit that operates within the soul. People tend to draw conclusion based on the physical aspect. What is unseen is the real issue. The life of JESUS on earth always shows His confontation with the issues of peoples heart. The accused has no power whatsoever to change the intention of his inner men because of the evil spirit that controls him. The spur of the moment thing is the language of this evil spirit.

You can not blame it on the devil. It's really funny to me when people say that. The devil did not make you do stuff but tempt you to do it. You have the freedom to choose to do it or not to do it. We are not puppets that the devil do whatever it want to do through us.

The issue  here is the devil and how he came to steal, kill and destroy human life. Living in sin is dangerous because the devil owns you and he has the right to destroy souls. Both the victim and the accused are victims of the evil spirit of destruction. The only way to be saved is through a relationship with the Risen Lord JESUS CHRIST. Mankind should REPENT and turn to GOD. It is not religion but a covenant relationship with the WAY,TRUTH and LIFE.
