Solana is a highly athletic filly with 3 lovely gaits. Her trot is especially good with loads of suspension. She is easy to handle and loves attention. Solana is currently 15.2 hands and would be a good prospect for either dressage or jumping.

Solana is by the German Trakehner stallion Bel Espace Go. Bel Espace is by the Elite stallion Maizauber, sire of Grand Prix dressage horse Bellinger. Bel Espace is a proven S level jumper and was champion of his performance test with a score of 8.4 overall and 8.52 jumping. His foals have been typey with tremendous athletic ability and grace.

Solana's dam Sidney has been a wonderful producer for Sovereign Farm. Though still young, she has produced several quality offspring, including the 2005 gelding Santiago SF by Kostolany. Santiago won the 2010 ATA Dressage Futurity with a 73+% median at Training level dressage. He is also ranked 15th Nationally with the USDF at Training level. Sidney's first foal was started and is ridden by his amateur owner. Another of her offspring is in MI being trained for a dressage career.
