Kinky Friedman Proud to be...from El Paso 2008

Kinky Friedman performed a long overdue concert in New York City on September 1, 2008 at BB King Blues Club. The show was great - music and comedy all rolled into one wonderful night. i tuned Kinky's wonderful Guild guitar for him when he did a book-signing at Library, Ltd. in St. Louis in 1996. way cool!

It's too bad that Big Jewford had gone to the Great Round-up in the Sky. The Kinkster is the funniest man, dead or alive ( I'm still trying to figure out which one he is,) that I have ever heard.

@theoriginalbadbob Omgosh, thanks for clarifying that! I love Little Jewford and would be upset if he passed away. :( I'm sorry to hear about Big Jewford, I didn't know him. I can't remember if I read "Texas Hold-Em'. My favorite of his is the one with Willie Nelson in it... ;)

@spiritbearNY BIG Jewford was killed by a drunk driver, I think it was, LITTLE Jewford is still around. I just finished reading Kinky's book "Texas Hold-Em. " It's the best thing the Kinkster has ever done.
