World's Toughest Mudder 2011 Official Video

World's Toughest Mudder is a 24 hour race designed to determine the toughest male and female on the planet.

Over 150,000 people completed a Tough Mudder course in 2011, with the top 5% of finishers qualifying for the series finale World's Toughest Mudder event.

800 qualifiers gathered on December 17th in New Jersey to take on the challenge, where they were given 24 hours to complete as many laps of a grueling 8 mile, 40 obstacle Tough Mudder course as possible.

Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie. I was disappointed that this video doesn't show more women Tough Mudders on camera. LOTS of women were there. You can see them in the background. It would have been nice to get several of their comments on camera and not just the men.

@hardstylez666 Hey! That is so unfair. And just saying how many laps they did doesn't mean they are worse - you can't compare women and men. They got into the top 800 just the same as the men did. And its the taking part that counts. Plus, could you do 6 laps? 6 is a big number, when you only have 24hrs to do it in, plus the fatigue you get. The video was not just talking about the winning. Don't hate on women dude.

@Himdarling44 Not to be a jerk, but when i got to Everest my first lap, i saw about 60 people at the bottom looking up, and two people at the top trying to catch whoever would attempt it. I ran to the right of the two guys on top and got it first try by myself.
