Very good video series that gives the viewer an in depth look at the entire situation and what the real causes were.

Thanks for the support. I would appreciate it though if you ask my permission first before reposting any of my videos.

For the "Southern Secession" video series you have reposted I will need you to post the following in the description box, the ownership notice at the bottom is especially required both in the description box and as a annotation at the beginning of each video segment:

Lecture by Donald Livingston presented at the Ludwig von Mises Institute's "History of Liberty" seminar held at the Institute in Auburn, Alabama, June 24-30, 2001. This Instructional Seminar of 23 lectures is modeled on the Mises University and presents a reinterpretation of the history of liberty from the ancient world--an ambitious agenda but a wonderfully successful conference. http://mises.org

Donald Livingston is an American philosophy professor based at Emory University with an expertise in the writings of David Hume. Livingston received his doctorate at Washington University in 1965. He has been a National Endowment for the Humanities fellow and is on the editorial board of Hume Studies and Chronicles: A Magazine of American Culture. Livingston's books include Hume's Philosophy of Common Life and Philosophical Melancholy and Delirium. Livingston is a former director and founder of the League of the South Institute for the Study of Southern Culture and History and is a founder of the Abbeville Institute.

Everyone needs to do some research. The civil war didn't have alot to do with slavery at all. You should read your history. Only 6% of southerners owned slaves...less than in the north. The president of the CSA actually adopted a black son. Ignorance is not an excuse anymore America. Wake up and realize the real problem...Tyranny and greed.

  • Slavery was not the ISSUE but the FRAMEWORK. The issue was the RIGHT of a State to deal with internal matters without the interference of the federal government. Jefferson's "fire-bell in the night" was not slavery but the Congress TELLING the people of Missouri what they could do about slavery and refusing them entrance into the Union unless Kansas was admitted as a free state. This went WAY beyond what the government was permitted to do under the Constitution and Jefferson knew it.

  • Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.

    Abraham Lincoln, fukken traitors-bubzienyny

  • @TheHoward1984 At the inauguration of the Confederate government, a speech given by a top member said 'The United States of America is founded on the principle that all men are created equal. The Confederate States of America is founded on the principal that they are not; that the African is naturally suited to servitude of the White race'... Not an exact quote, but close. And their Constitution gives great prominence to matters of legal process for slaveholders. 'Research', that just funny.

  • @festdir Hey you got me. You are so intelligent and well spoken I'm overwhelmed by your wisdom and bow to it's awesomeness.

  • @1Atomtan "few documented facts"

Like international & historical examples? Like the CSA's actual history? Like the difference in test scores b/n the south & the rest of the nation? Like the CVA of '64?

You really got me. I should have just said "you like Che!!", made a few blatantly racist statements, decide I am the spokesperson for balcks & generally act like I am utterly uneducated & retarded white trash.

I will do my best to follow your example in the future.

  • @festdir When you actually start posting a few documented facts there might be something more to discuss. Didn't see you argue about changing immigration from white to non white in 1965 either Che boy.

  • @festdir When was the last time you actually looked at those test scores? I see you have yet to admit a single evil done by you northern liberal statist? Whether I speak for most blacks or not..you can bet on the subject of whether the North loved them and cared for them I speak for quite a few. They know better as do you. Beat decency into southerners? Tell that to the spirits of indians and orphans in your industrialist work camps Hey..You win I'll let you continue to live in your dream world
