  • no dude, you are doin' it rong..... use more than one finger....

  • I probably am doing it wrong. But read my bio....my channel is about learning to play bass with limited use of my joints, fingers, etc. due to a medical problem.

  • I love to see girl playing bass :). But you have to learn how to use all fingers of your left hand or you ownt be able to play faster and more complicated songs in future. There are some videos of gary willis on youtube, check them out they are very helpful.

  • Thank you! Regarding my fingers, I totally agree, but if you read my channel info, I am trying to learn the bass with having Lupus and arthritis in my hands and fingers. My pinky and ring fingers don't work, so I'm trying to force them to work some way! But to no avail...YET....I'm gonna keep tryin!

  • wow a nice girl playing porcupine tree on bass (Y) youre goodd by the way :)

  • Thank you! I really need to redo this video. This is me struggling learning it. I've relaxed a bit since...at least I hope!!

  • Have you ever tried playing a short scale bass? My girlfriend has a Dean Evo XM short scale, and with the 30" scale length, it's easier to make longer note stretches. And it actually sounded pretty beastly, too. You might want to keep an eye out and try one out if you see one in a shop.

  • You have a very healthy approach to the bass by keeping your wrists straight. However, keep on working with those other fingers. It will pay off and you can overcome your illnesses over time!

  • i you have lupus and arthritis, ..the doc let you to play bass?... anyway, i love to see girls playing bass... it's sexy ;)

i'm a bass player too.. chilean... and you can lean more see billy sheehan or stu ham... greats bass players... but the fact that you can't play whit more left hand's finger limits you a lot ..

good jjob anyway... and lucky with that

(sorry about my english.. if it is wrong)

  • therapeutical bass playing? good idea.

  • didn´t realise this was an old vid, you have developed your own technique over two years, definetly you are gettin' better with every vid congrats.....

  • As mentioned before, work on thoose fingers, another thing, would be to try and relax your right shoulder, other than that you're doing just fine!!!
