Nope. Batou is experienced in cyber warfare and tuff. Togusa is a cop, experienced in investigation. It's just about experience.

@avrambrankovich There are some other episodes which deal with the topic of cyborgs imitating behaviour or needs of humans: They either wish it because they want to feel "human" or to be part of "normal" society, have nostalgic desires or they need to be "remembered" of their own vulnerability/mortality. Kuze i.e. disabled his pain receptors in some episodes while Batou/Kusanagi keep them activated so they don't notice body "failures" when it's already too late (pain exists for good reason)

@fergusmckee because they were probably written by a drunk japanese guy.
i dunno, i just keep them off when watching it but i couldn't turn them off with the conversion software.
