They expanded too fast and you should have seen the waste at the corprate office, while the ship was on fire and sinking( I was still cleaning the windows and digging though the trash) they still threw parties, the odd thing though even Fretter had an office there it was empty! I wanted to work in the service department but whent out of business before i finished school, but since i did clean the offices i still found cool stuff in the trash, lol

Boy I miss all of the great old companies, like Fretter, Highland and Woolco...man the memories.

they went out of business because the times had to change and that stretch of time saw alot of local store being shut down and forced out by the bigger natiional stores moving in :(
