I appreciate these videos because there really is a need for clear knitting instruction on the web. I will admit that at first I thought the host role was unnecessary because I've never viewed a tutorial with a host before. However, I now agree that the host acts as a valuable foil to the instructor. His questions and comments provide us with an even better explanation.
I think that the host is valuable because he asks questions that someone who is completely unfamiliar with knitting would ask. When you're an expert, it's easy to gloss over steps that might be confusing to a beginner.
Thank you so much! You made casting on instructions so simple. I had wasted so much time reading instructions and not understanding. Now I am casting on, I feel so proud of myself. Can't wait to learn more knitting techniques from your videos.
I like your videos they are great, though it is very hard to see what you are doing sometimes.

please get rid of the extraneous host - he is annoying and unnecessary. His voice is annoying.

you should actually have a light shining on your hands instead of the light shining in the background...

I had just about given up on learning how to cast on. Pictures and written instructions do not work, and other videos are just to fast and confusing.
But you video has given me the promise of really being a knitter.
