Written by Joni Mitchell but recorded by Tom Rush in 1968. The song became a hit for both Rush and Judy Collins. Done here by Rush on his '68 album by the same name. It's all about the cycles of life.

  • I mean, "Ribbons Undone".... such great artwork in the video and then against the backdrop of that new background you got. I sent it to my sister, sure she'll love it 2.

  • @MsLA195 Another big thank you!

  • Beautifullllll... I love this 1 very clean version by Joni Mitchell, too. Though I'm more for spirals than for circles, so I don't think so! Video so beautifully done. I think I may have an image or two by you printed out & plastified,- on my fridge, made magnets of them as if it were, you know... really big ones. Thank you very much for very kind comments you left.

  • @MsLA195 Thank you so much! Coming from one who makes such beautiful videos, I am truly flattered by your comment. Thanks! :-))

  • As a teen, I listened to this album over and over again in my room in the late '60s...it still evokes such strong emotions 40+ years later. Close to perfection. Thanks for your beautiful work with the video.

  • @DeltaBravo314 Thanks so much for your comment. I share the same feelings about it. Glad you liked the video as well. :-))

  • @tippimail1 Thanks! And...I share your love of the world of music on YouTube. :-))

  • Great song and simply stunning video! How did i live before Youtube?

  • I remember hearing this in the 70s, first by Joni Mitchell and then Tom Rush. It's a very moving story about life. But I remind all of you that life on this Earth isn't all there is. There is life after death, because Jesus died for us.
