  • Saw this in 1976. Fantastic line up of comedians, all of whom went on to greater renown. HBO premiered on 5-14-76 in my city, I watched this program that very night. Great -- thanks for posting. Boosler is hilarious.

  • I love her !!! I remember watching her in the late 80s and early 90s...she had great material about being single. I wish she would do some new stuff....she's awesome!!

  • @iHAVE1j it's "per ce".

  • i agree with blackwit.. the more feminine jokes about fluffing a metal chair and killing your dog by stepping on his tail were blatantly unfunny. It wasn't because the jokes were bad persay, but the entire act was too predictable. even if this was a precedent, women have driven this act into the ground so long watching it now is repulsive.

  • I don't even think female Jewish bull dykes pull off being funny. At least not this one.

It's all about delivery.. if your purpose is all about bending our ideals of prim and proper females, you come off like an activist, which isn't funny. Yeah, she said one feminine thing about getting her hair straightened, and failed miserably. The rest was just garbled farce about how women can do what men can do.. ha ha ha. heard it before.. wasn't funny then.

  • awesome- this made christopher hitchens' argument better than he did.

  • Seems that way from the terminology that I used but my premise is strictly based on the understanding of communication abilities between the sexes. My primary references were PhD's in psychology and (for the most part) they were men. The idea is simply, men and women communicate differently. Whoa, how sexist! But seriously, in communication men are more linear/left hemisphere and women are more intuitive and complex. This accounts for many differences in perceptions (including humor).
