Im trying desperately to find a good topic to write my bachelor thesis about. Do you have any suggestions? All ideas are welcome as long as they are GLBTQ / Queer Theory related!

I would suggest maybe the culture of gay men on the "down-low," particularly gay latino and black men who live as straight men. There are many interesting issues at play here: race, social pressures, class, etc...I, too, am going to do my thesis in a queer related topic. Well I wish you the best!!

i was talking to my gender tutor the other day and a topic that we were super interested on was gay consumer culture. there's not a great deal out there on the topic and it'd be really interesting to hear about glbtq orientated advertising and the stereotypes that are perpetuated in things like glbtq magazines.

another really interesting topic my friend is doing her masters in is the portrayal of lesbians as either the victim or aggressor in film and media.

You could try writing about whether or not a child who is raised by same-sex parents has a higher chance of same-sex relations. I personally don't believe it does but then again I was raised by same sex parents and I am bisexual

transition within marriage? the issues of being stealth, and presenting as a straight couple or remaining in the queer community. does it have to be a choice, or can you swim in both worlds simultaneously? oh wait, is that thesis material or just my daily plight? i hope you get lots of ideas. other than home, amsterdam has been my favorite place on earth.
