The dolphins found on the coast of Japan and featured in 'The Cove' are Pacific Bottlenosed Dolphins (Turciops trucatus gillis), the ones at Delphinus are the Atlantic subspecies (Turciops truncatus truncatus)

Hello Devonfire and Canberrateacher. Thank you for your comments. Our first 17 dolphins came from Atlantic Ocean (gulf of mexico or the mexican caribbean waters acomplishing all mexican permissions before 2000, because after this year Mexico sign a convention that prohibits capture or import wild dolphins. Today we have 72 dolphins, 55 of them born in our facilities since 1991... only in the last 2 years we have 17 births and 100% survival rate product from our husbandry and commitment with
