  • @myunclesnephew All Bossy said (in a spur of the moment interview, btw) was that he was a little disappointed he didn't win. He didn't even say that he should have won (and he absolutely should have won, btw), and he didn't say that Goring shouldn't have won it. So you're wrong, no "dick thing" was said.

  • If they get the new arena I think the 5th cup is not to far off.

  • I can still recall that static sound when the text came up on the screen back in those days. Go Canucks Go!

  • @HisMajestyBobbyOrr They suck, but they swept the Oilers in 83. That makes sense. Thanks for your thoughts genuis.

  • Ziegler looks like he was ready to throw up watching the Isles winning another cup, lol.

  • Mike Bossy was an overated pompass idiot. Read his book

  • Mike Bossy was an overated pompass ass. Read his book

  • @HisMajestyBobbyOrr Who the hell did the Oilers play when they were ruling the roost in the regular season? The St. Louis Blahs? The Vancouver Cannots? The Minnesota No Stars? If the oilers were in the east with teams like the Islanders, Flyers, Capitals and Bruins getting smacked around every night ain't no way they're winning five times in seven years!!! The isles had a lot of guys hurt going into '84 and that stopped them as much as the Oilers did.

  • Gretzky had 4 assists for 4 points in the 1983 Stanley Cup Finals. He did not score a goal but he did score 4 goals and 3 assists in the 84 final and had 11 points in '85 and '87 and a record 13 in '88. Gretzky got it done period, '83 was not his best series but he played incredible in every other final he was in.
