The Bar-Kays played for our fraternity's dance at the Holiday in on N. College in Fayetteville Arkansas in 1967. We had Issac Hayes about the same time for another party. Cost us $600 which isn't bad for Issac Hayes and the Do Dad Orchestra. My brothers fraternity at Florida State had Otis Redding and the Pine Top Singers come down from Georgia to play a Delta Tau Delta party.

1967 was one of the best years of my life, no doubt about it. Hot cars, beautiful girls who still left you with something to imagine.
