@drrobertoboogie97 Mmm... well... they were a pop band, Elvis was a pop star too. Pop is not the musical style (If you compare Early Madonna or Michael Jackson with last Kathy Perry single you will find there's a lil' difference but, guess what: they're both pop). The Beatles were pop because it was POPular music (lot of radio airplay and stuff) and not alternative music, even if they played beat, Rock & Roll, Experimental, Psychedelich, Hard Rock, etc. It's not their fault what is pop now.

I hate when people say The Beatles are a pop group they were a ROCK group is Helter Skelter pop? Is Revolution pop? etc. So SHUT UP!
