this guy is about as clueless as an infant when it comes to fuel costs. demand and inflation cause high prices. not oil companies and supply! the make record profits b/c it takes more money to purchase a gallon of fuel thats worth as much as it was before. thats inflation. cost rises, value stays the same, but we get less. the government involving itself gave us stagflation in the 70s, a long term depression in the 30s, wonder what it will do this time? hmmm.....it will NOT help!

Republicans fought against the idea of global warming because it was a supposedly liberal issue - now it is considered factual - GM's leader called the Prius Hybrid impractical and not a money maker while the Japanese perfect the technology and he sells gas guzzlers - our car companies use the excuse that "they sell what we want" - stop fighting so "WE" can fix this issue - do you think oil companies making record profits will let this happen easily? Stop letting them fool you, and be American.

I am so tired of people on both sides attacking others because of ideology.....Obama was speaking the truth....some things I like what he says some I don't same with Mcain, but attacking him and saying it is BS is what is keeping our country back...drill drill drill does nothing for us get off oil will - people are using HHO gas to increase mileage in cars now - building electrical cars in backyards - "WE" can cut oil use in 1/2 if "WE" wanted to, but too many talk about they and them

of course not, that's why nancy adjourned the hill before allowing a vote on drilling. they want the public to be miserable so they'll blame bush, one of the few that's up there trying to do something about it, and hold the grudge in the November elections.

So you assume that because we're against fossil fuels we're also against nuclear power? I'm for it, I think we should use more nuclear power to get off fossil fuels.

IIRC, the concern there is about damage to the ecosystems around those dams, although I think that's better than damage to the air and atmosphere from fossil fuels.

Aside from saintfarv's comment, it's ironic that you'd even use the word ridiculous since ideology labels like "liberal" are also ridiculous. I don't conform to such ideologies; just because I want to see alternative fuels pushed for doesn't mean I agree with "liberals" on all other subjects.
