She doesn't hate him, she just wants him to know she's Queen of the house. Especially her sanctuary in the old washing machine.

Time will tell. And keep your expectations in check. Maybe they will just learn to tolerate each other, with the occasional encroachment on the other's territory. Maybe they will be the best of mates. Time, as she always does, will tell.
