RESCUED!! Big Beautiful 3 legged GSD needs Rescue Arlington Animal Shelter

Ruger is a big beautiful young GSD that was found a stray in Arlington Texas. Once he arrived at the Arlington Animal Shelter, it was evident he has suffered a terrible accident where his right paw had been severed, leaving bones exposed. By the time he arrived at the shelter, the severed paw had healed on it's own, but Ruger did not use his leg and there was no muscle mass left. Despite the suffering he endured, he is a very happy, loving, trusting dog. He is a skinny 71 lbs and eats wolfs down his food. His weight gain has been slow. The Vet on staff ambutated his right front leg. Since Ruger was already walking around like a 3 legger, he is naturally already a pro. He is UTD on vaccinations, neutered and ready for a dog rescue to pull him. He is dog freindly and not so cat friendly. He is ready to start living in a home again. He has been at the shelter since 12/22/2009 and now ready to leave. If a rescue is interested in him, they need his animal id ID 9361130 when contacting the shelter (http://www.arlingtontx.gov/animals/). The dog in this video is also looking for a home. He is an young Siberian Husky that was surrendered ot the shetler on 3/5/2010. He is available to the public for adoption, where as Ruger is available to a Non-Profit Dog Rescue ONLY. The Husky doesn't yet have an id assigned, I will update once assigned.
