Someone on the Eurogamer forum caught some blokes in a van stealing motorbikes on his cameraphone. Have you seen these men and their van?

  • imo a bike is not worth killing for...that is the reason i gave up the hobby. my rage almost got the best of me. if the manufacturers, insurance agencies & law enforcement don't care about the rampant crime spree, it is best to leave the hobby to the thieves, they will learn the hard way that theft may help your business in the short run but your business will fail if the only customers left are mostly thieves = )

  • I was so upset at that point, I turned my car around & turned the tables on that SOB & scared the daylights or poo poo out of him. I almost did the unimaginable because of my rage. I eventually let the idiot go and sold my 2nd Bike a GSXR1000. Guess what happened to the buyer of my 2nd Bike in a mere 2 weeks? Like I said, if you like to place cat & mouse 24/7 then a Bike is a fun toy. If not just give it up like me, it's not worth the trouble = P

Lo Jack only pays for the replacement of their security system...not the bike = ) ...It's impossible to stop an orangized theft ring, if they are left to do as they please. The last straw for me occurred when I purchased a GSXR1000 to replace the stolen R1. I caught one the scum bags tailing me in my car to find where I was parking the bike. I thought it was odd that a car would follow me around in circles eights around & around...

  • @TheGreatMercenary

I had a Yamaha R1 stolen from my underground parking garage...the same night they stole my neighbor's American Eagle that weighs over 600 lbs...over 1000 lbs for the 2 bikes, none of my neighbors noticed anything suspicous that night. Chains can be melted off with an acetylene torch in a matter of minutes with no noise. Security cameras, a silent alarm system & tracker paging system is better but still not 100%. Only 100% deterent is the give up biking like I did.

  • Stupid thieves :D
