  • Jack: You're gonna have this baby tonight

    Jennifer: No!

    Jack: It's time to push

    Jennifer: No!

    Jack: Yes!

    Jennifer: No!

  • it is funny when she says no no no

  • @FanJamesMarsters That was the most unrealistic delivery EVER. If the mom is dilated 10cm she knows it! She would be pushing at that point-she wouldn't need anyone to tell her to! Then she didn't know the baby was out? Give me a break? What-she didn't 'feel the burn'? Every mom feels that and it's not pleasant. She'd feel the baby was out of her.

DOOL is so unrealistic sometimes-even back then. I wish they'd get a medical advisor to help them with this stuff.

I loved them as a couple, though.

  • @northgreendiamond I know your comment is old but i just wanted to say that would NOT happen! If a woman is dilated, she is going to push-actually doctors sometimes have to tell women to breathe & NOT push for various reasons. Not to be gross, but once the baby's head comes down, it pushes against the mom's rectum-it feels like you want to do the biggest #2 ever! The mom is going to keep 'straining' or pushing until the baby is out-she couldn't stop if she wanted to.

    Isn't Mother Nature grand?

  • @SenseOrSensibility I don't know what it is but my hubby's an ER doctor and even he got tense when I got near the end of my pregnancies. It was like he was nervous and jumpy when usually he's calm and in control. Unfortunately, I ended up being overdue with both my pregnancies & had a scheduled admission to the hospital. I was disappointed-I wanted to see how he'd act if I went into labor at home. He was even a bit tense at the hospital-he never really said why. I guess the emotional part of it.

  • What year was this again??

  • I love how the men on soap operas are always panicking because they have no idea how to deliver a baby. I'd say the mother knows exactly how!

  • Jack is so boss that he knew how dilated Jennifer was! lol
