This is Eddie Hopkins outside his 400 year old cottage in Sedgeberrow in March 2007. He has just retired after many years as a potter at nearby Winchcombe Pottery. Sadly his home had over 6 feet of water through it in the flood of 20th July 2007. He had to be rescued by boat after getting trapped holding to a drain pipe outside for 3 hours. The stress and drama of the flood made him ill and he died suddenly on the 7th August 2007. He will be really missed by everyone who knew him.
