THIS is what I was wanting to do from the get go!! WOW not only did it turn out, it has remained moist and the texture of real bread for many more days than in the conventional oven.

This is such a good prep tool. Doesn't waste the stored fuel...off grid....portable....going to use it today and the high t is 29! (o:

  • Ok, I'm sold now after watching the vid. Thanks Donna!

  • @PreppingOnABudget ~ I am tellin' you what! Since it has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee - you bet your sweet bippy I was getting out there to test it!

I wasn't going to suggest f it without seeing the idiot-proof level of the thing. If *I* can use it with success anyone can learn to do the same!

Today on the solar menu - two pots of different beans (cooking ahead) and cornbread.

They should all fit and it's gonna be a full sunny day!

I'm cranking this puppy up EARLY today!

and their comment is normally we're hungry !

  • @RCvolunteer1978 ~ Sounds like good solar cooking weather! Well, maybe if you use one of these the fast food won't be so tempting! (o:

    Thanks for the comment!

  • @MotherLodeBeth ~ Yep. The only place it cannot be used is in Alaska in those long 24hr dark days! Cool! Three gens of homeschooling! Love it!

Yes, we live in the 'baby mountains' of NC...nothing to compare with your mountains! I love the west! And you're right, snow is not a road block to solar cooking....just focus the rays right IN and you can really cook! Winters are clearer here sometimes so I'm looking forward to cooking in the cold! Be blessed!
