Cheerleader Fall at MVC Tournament

This is a clip of the SIUC cheerleader who fell headfirst off the top of a pyramid in the 4th quarter. In a show of great school spirit, she continues to lead the squad in a cheer to the SIU fight song, Go Southern Go! As she is lead off the floor strapped down to a strecher! Thankfully, she's going to be OK.

Yeah I did the camera in front of the TV thing, that was the easiest way to transfer it off of the DVR... Damn Dish Network locks their equipment down. If you know of a way to pull it into a PC for editing let me know - I have about 25 hours worth of stuff I'd like to pull onto DVD archive...

ok. for all of you assholes who know nothing about collegiate cheerleading, i'm amazed that you even took the time to watch this clip, let alone comment about it. she didn't simply fall a few inches off a skateboard, or 3 feet off a bike...she fell head-first from about the height of a 2nd story window. she's lucky she didn't die instantly (though i'm sure several of you will post comments to the contrary), and prolly why she chose to cheer when she heard her school's fight song.

I admire her spirit but she could have further damaged herself with that stunt... really should have stayed still, a few cheers are not worth life in a wheelchair.

i was watching the game when this happened, i live about 30 miles from SIU, i about crapped myself cuz it was a timeout and the camera was on SIUS bench and all of a sudden u see a cheerleader in the background fall

she fell nearly 15ft headfirst on to a hard ground... how would u like it if that happened to u and no one cared??

she is lucky.. a fall like that is really bad
