Mmmm - A Boiling Point or a Wampler Plextortion - that's what it's coming down to - they both sound awesome - but i need to choose - I have the Red Dog and the Wampler Ecstacy - just one more and surely the cravings will go away!

What pickups are callard using ? thanks.

You have a good point, however, I have a Bogner Shiva (most would agree it's a good amp) and add the boilingpoint - and it makes it even better.

I have great sounding Marshall DSL, my Strant just sings on overdrive channel. Still I believe a great boutique pedal helps to shape the sound even better. Rockbox Boiling Point is great, and it is expensive because each is hand painted and then covered with lacquer and there are no two alike. They sound great and look beautiful. I think of it as an investment, one great pedal for life.

9:20...epic tone begins...that Les Paul is gorgeous and I'm not even a huge Gibson fan

@uomoscozzese I love these pedals, but unless you've got a big budget a good tube amp with a footswitch is just as good, if not better!

@uomoscozzese yea like a mesa boogie :) $6000

@eyk234 if you want Anal, it doesnt get more than Eric Johnson! he buys hundreds of the same lead, then tries them all til one is right...

Got my Rockbox Boiling Point 2 days ago - I'm in love =)
@TheSmoothrocker Sorry man, but you cannot start to compare Rockbox drive pedals with the Vox VT20+. One is a fun bedroom amp & the other is a pro grade drive pedal.
