Not only is it fake, it was released 3 days before the death of Osama to take attention away from it.

This guy is wrong. Any pixels that Illustrator decides are "text" during optimization are put into a separate monochome layer. Take a look. Every single pixel is *exactly* the same color. Of course there is no "chromatic aberration" in a monochrome layer. Illustrator also adds a "white" layer behind the monochrome text to make it stand out. It's text detection is not perfect, so it leaves some text as originally scanned, notably the last "1" in the certificate number.

The Obama BC file is not a scan.
Therefore, scanning software could not have generated the layers.

@iamlost2 That is not my personal assertion. I was relaying the argument of karl denninger. I am still trying to get to the bottom of all this.... Why didn't the Obama administration just scan the document as a single JPG? It's almost like they wanted to create confusion with layers, linked files, chromatic abberations,,,,, just scan the damn paper as a JPG, they made it crazy complicated when it didn't have to be.
