3 Monoliths in an 1850 army? Tad overkill IMO. 2 - 5 man squads of Destroyers, 5 or 10 immortals, and 2, maybe 3 heavy destroyers. Nightbringer and deciever are a point sink and not worth it. Better off playing all the T5 figs you can, taking advantage of range and just running a lord with Veil and a Destroyer body. Oh well, just my 2 cents.
well i havnt used him yet but i know what he can do because my brothers army has 3 grps of guardmen, a HQ set, a leman russ and a basilisk so i think his army is round about 500 points or something.
wish i could give you a good report on how to use the nightbringer but i only played him in one game that was about 3000 points worth and we never really got to finish it if nothing else i pushed away a unit that was in close combat with some of mine and killed at least one other while sustaining 2 wounds and still pushing him forward
yea good games never last. i wish my bros had a bigger army because atm im not even using half of it but the is a larger scale battle (500 points unfortunatly) i would use my destryers and heavy destroyer and lots of troops, or just troops and my lord.
