That dirt is worth more than gold. You can feed yourself with that dirt. Only way gold would be worth anything is if someone grew or caught more food than they themselfs can use. Gold might of gone up in value but still worth what it was back in 1900. The amount of gold it took to buy say a suit still takes the same amount of gold today.

Landfill should be old news. We need to separate what we need to separate and take it to the right places to be recycled instead of just burying it. We can recycle everything nowadays and turn it into plastic, yet we're still pollluting the Earth.
