@rfuilrez yea its much more than two tone, it is about 8-12.

@huslermatt It's actually probably quite a bit more than just 2 tons. It has to be quite a bit MORE than the heaviest load it will lift, because of the how far out the boom is. Simple lever and fulcrum.

The crane operator did not spin the cab around! At the back of the crane is about 2 tone weight so when the crane started to fall gravity did its work and spun it around.

Wow, amazing someone was right there with a video camera to watch this, now only if they new how to use the camera this would be a great video.
-
at least he had the time to react and swing the cab around so it was on top of the crash not the bottom !!
-
pretty sure he left his brain at home that day... what a fucken retard setting up that close to the bank.
-

Is there always an even bigger crane, or how do they get it out of there later?

@SCOOTERBOY40029 fuck you are stupid little boy!! the operator did a fuckin great job, the crane was gonna topple anyway even if he did drop his load, he turned the cab to save himself!! go back to listening to scooter on your mommys cd player!!
Operator did great at the end. I am guessing he was buckled in but he spun that cab around perfectly and probably saved himself a bit of injury or worse. Good job besides the whole unstable ground incident.
