i really don't see this band as a Christian band. they are Christians, but i don't hear any Jesus shit. i listen to this band, particularly this album, because it's solid indie pop rock. this album holds memories and feelings for me that are only available to me when i listen to it. music has gotten so bad over the last decade. i blame the internet and the loss of the diy/punk ethic in indie rock. it's evident in the term indie rock itself being coopted to describe pop rock, independent or not.
