  • Ram air on Grand Ams is a marketing gettup. The air comes in under where it says "ram air" but then its has to take a 90 degree turn to the engine - which kills the velocity and negates the "ram air" effect. Cold air intakes are the best you can get.

  • ya i own the car and im 100% with u. it helps a little, more than the stock SE intake. but fenderwell cold air intake is the "best" apart from boost

  • can you mkse a vidoe that a ltitle longer

or you starting your car and pressing the gass peddle

  • not with gas at $3.45 a gallon man lol, unless people will give out tips haha

  • @dgk990 governed

  • ok so if a computer controls how much air goes into your engine wouldnt you have to change your computers settings to actually get the benefit of an aftermarket intake? i put one in my last truck and it did nothing but look cool

  • you gave out a 75... come on man.... my 2001 se with the 2.4l (4banger pos lol) topped out at 118mph... god i love my pos car lol

  • @IfightBitches

the cat won't really chance a whole lot except give it an obnoxious sound, but the 3400 engine isn't too bad i like mine lol

  • my moms grand am GT has no catalytic converter and that bitch is FAAAAAAAST....

  • gas is 370 per gallon here in illinois now for the cheap shit wtf!!!!!

  • @caraudioman16 haha your grand am se is a sleeper? omg your a noob. my grand prix gt is a sleeper, its a half second faster than the blown grand prix gtp.

  • @BrtshAmerican6 sounds like a great idea if you want your tranny to drop onto to ground

  • SO FAST!!! O.o

  • @FiredUpZ28 thats actually not ALL true...the "Ram Air" does pull in air, We can see that BUT where do you think the aftermarket CAI goes? its put into the hole in the fenderwell right where the second air intake is...yea it may be made of plastic but it is in the same position as a newer CAI...I think Pontiac @ least tried to make it work with 2 intakes instead of 1 b/c having like 3 filters on a stock V-6 is pointless and would raise sales...
