@JessBisme Taekwondo and Hapkido are very similar, both based off of the taekkyon system. The difference is that Taekwondo is primarily striking. From what I hear, Hapkido strives for balance, but has a bit more grappling than striking.

Taekwondo, is a korean martial art, born right after WW2. The origins are from various ancient korean martial arts and karate. This because the man that made TKD the way is famous today, trained in Japan, were Karate was the country martial art. When back to korea he combined ancient korean martial art and refined japanese karate which was lacking in many technics. Applied science from newton's law. TKD techniques are much more efficient and people should do more research. its not only kicks!

We were just practicing up. There were kihaps on the test.
