Valley Christian plays first ever home football game

Friday night football is a big tradition for many people in the Inland Northwest. But for the students and parents at Valley Christian High School, Friday was the beginning of a new tradition. They played their first ever home football game. KXLY4's John Langeler reports.

Okay. I'm a Christian and I'm not entirely supporting your statement here. Yes God dislikes violence, but just because there are injuries and such doesn't mean that the players or audience LOVE violence. It's just a game and I'm sure that God realizes that nobody plays it for violence.

These football players aren't Christian. God Abhors violence. "The LORD tries the righteous and the wicked; but His soul hates him that loves violence." (Psalm 11:5 Lamsa).
