I watched the Pokemon series when it first came out in Korea (1997) and nothing changed for me. It really irritates me when people say that the 5th gen Pokemon "suck." First it was "4th gen is so ugly" and now since a new gen came out, it's automatically "5th gen is so ugly" People can be so ignorant these days. Honestly, I love the BW series, especially Dent. Nostalgia freaks need to give it a rest -_- Pokemon hasn't changed; just your thoughts, imagination, and tolerance.

@Patrickg95 They made two new episodes last year. One of them was Dawn travelling to hoenn (deciding and boarding the ship) and Brock officially quitting being the gym leader and passing the title to his brother (he battles agent joy).

This song makes me sad, reminds me of when I faked being ill to watch the final episode of DP live air in Japan, it was important to me, and I wanted to watch the end of a fantastic era. Long live the DP trio! Ash, Dawn, and Brock! You were a comfort for me in some real dark times, seeing Dawn overcome her dark times gave me strength, and I eventually overcame them too. DP series!

@ISewSquids As for the games and the pokemon themselves, I feel the third gen. and most of the fourth gen. aren't as good as the rest, they seem somewhat less creative than the other generations. I very much enjoy the fifth generation, mostly because they completely created new pokemon for the new region, along with such a wonderful story. It just felt like the beginning all over again.

Personally, I don't think you can have watched pokemon all through and say 'nothing has changed.' Things changed big time when the third generation shows came out. Now, I'm a pokemon fan through and through, but pokemon seemed to have lost a bit of its whimsical qualities and it doesn't really teach kids morals like it used to, though I can't say much for the BW series since I haven't watched it. The Movies, however, I don't see nearly as much change in, though there still is some.
