Horn Blast and a chat FQE87

I will make a Formal Complaint about the illegal use of a horn, the offensive gesture and language on Tuesday
I have been trying to not confront motorists, as the Police have suggested I shouldn't, but after the Police told me that the driver of "Left Hook FDR536 (expired rego)" said he realised he should have stopped and spoken to me, I thought it was only fair to give this driver the chance to clear up any confusion there may have been regarding her intent and attitude to cyclists, I really wouldn't want the Police to waste their time unduly when I had the chance to ask the driver whilst it was still fresh in her mind, there is also the chance that the Police fail to get the true reasons after the driver had a chance to make up a story. I feel she has cleared up any confusion they there may have been if the Police couldn't contact the driver promptly, I also feel there is a clear indication of where she might have learnt the behaviour, as they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Cannot believe she had the audacity to just flip you the bird, and the Dickhead that came out wasn't any better. If anything came good out of this they gave you a decent amount of space when they overtook you, and never tailgated you any. Still no excuse for acting like that though. I would just let it go since they never hit you or even came that close to you.

If they honk...it means they've seen you and have no reason whatsoever to run you down ;) Maybe if you fit a red box to a rear pannier marked "danger...explosives"...they'd give you a wider berth. I think your lane positioning is perfect. Out of door zone, predictable...you can't do much better (though some may argue, get some rego AND get off the roads AND dig a tunnel :P)

Well done for having a chat mate! not enough cyclists do, so top work on that front :) also great cycling and perfect examples of your road position on that very road, top cycling. I hope those thick, ignorant, scum bags watch this and realise how pathetic they are!

@cyberwealth There is a massive problem with stoners in NZ, at least he wasn't driving!

I don't get much choice in tops with my long arms, Areotech Designs (I think) are the only people that make tops for tall cyclists. If anyone knows of another maker of tall cyclist clothing please feel free to chip in
