Lord of Ghosts, Maldor

Well, waddaya know? Meh first vid! And as such, it is far from perfect.

My dedication to the ghost Maldor, from "The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo." I was entranced from the moment I saw this episode; for a Hanna Barbera cartoon (and don't get me wrong, I'm a die-hard HB fan), Maldor is a simply outstanding character! His design is like something straight out of a modern-day anime, the dark skin, the silver hair, the horns...and his character, WOW! He is totally serious and hell bent on enslaving the world for his own purposes. There is nothing spur-of-the-moment about Maldor, his story extends waaaay beyond this particular episode; he knows what he wants and how to get it...

So, without further adieu, I present to you Maldor, the Lord of Ghosts.

Yeah, I love Maldor the Malevolent as a villain in Scooby Doo! I was hoping someone would make a tribute video to him and this is the first one! Thanx a bunch, Kwenchan! In my opinion, he should have been 13 Ghost's main villain, with Weerd and Bogel as his henchmen and have a possible rivalry with Vicent Van Ghoul as both are very powerful Sorcerors. BTW, did you know Peter Cullen voiced Maldor, who also voiced Optimus Prime on Transformers and Venger on Dungeons and Dragons?

Maldor is, indeed, amazing. As I said before he looks like something out of a Japanese anime, not a Hanna Barbera cartoon. That said, I cannot believe, seeing as I'm a HUGE Transformers fan, that he's also voiced by Peter Cullen!

I also forgot to mention that Peter Cullen also provided the voice of Ironhide on Transformers, in case you didn't know. BTW, I forgot to ask, do you want to be friends?

I love how quite some demon villains from the 80s begin or end with "mal," which means "evil" in spanish and possibly other languages.I specially like Maldor and Malroth which despite being a japanese character (from Dragon Quest II) the name is surely American. Both are quite obscure, so thanks for uploading this!

for some dumb reason all the episodes of 13 ghosts have been removed but GOOD NEWS it is coming out on DVD june 29th 2010 in north america

It's currently posted on Youtube. It's called Scoobra Kadoobra and its episode 2 of the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. Also, ALL the other episodes in the entire 13 Ghosts Season are posted, as well.
