  • Emo is hilarious, and I think these days people don't really appreciate this kind of comedy. Back in the 80s, Emo helped popularize a kind of "awkward" comedy that a lot of other comedians used back then, like Joel Hodgson. Many of those comedians went on to do other stuff(or nothing), but Emo's still performing and still has one of the most original acts I've ever seen. Seeing him live is even better; I've seen him live a few times, and everyone was in tears he was so hilarious!

  • i love the shots of uncomfortable audience members

  • he's very funny and it was a fabulous act when he was young but maybe now his act doesn't work as well now he's older. Great material though!

  • @arthowardatnight I remember you. I saw you when you were trying to give the stool to him. He seems really genuine and nice. My friend has a big crush on him, so she & I did our "Emo groupies" bit and we kept cracking him up. Can't wait to see him again.

  • @Lawlesslady1968 Yeah, I think you were on the right and I was on the left. I was the phone company guy. I also offered him a chair when he said the stool they gave him had nail polish all over it. Afterward I told him he didn't need to be afraid to do political humor, we weren't all on the far right down here, and he asked me about Occupy Atlanta. He strikes me as a super nice guy, no egomania at all.

  • @arthowardatnight Yes! He talked to everybody. Who were you? I was Kim the pawnbroker in front. LOL

  • @Lawlesslady1968 I bet we were at the same show! Thursday night at the Laughing Skull?

  • This dude sucks...not funny at all.

  • I just saw him last night for the first time. SO funny and such a really great guy. Spent a lot of time talking with the audience and interacting with all of us. LOVE him.

  • @PirateOfTheInternet "I like to go to the playground and watch the children running around, shouting and screaming and running... of course, they don't know I'm using blanks." Saw him in London in 87, and never forgot that joke.

  • @srvinfinity Really? What is his official facebook page? (link pls)
