Well, the latest deadline for rapture has passed with little incident
But some of the faithful, I read, are a little more than disappointed.
They are angry, in fact, especially that they will now have to pay their credit card bills and visit the mother in law next weekend.
----------------------------------
Family Radio - the radio home of Mr vCamping, predictor the May 21st Rapture event - has apparently been "severely vandalized", according to reports - with air conditioning units yanked out and $25,000 worth of copper stripped from the equipment. Staff think it must have been an angry listener and plan to drive past the headquarters "and make sure nothing's burning."
---------------------------------
Such vandalism is extreme, but the vitriol pouring out of some disappointed Rapture hopefuls perhaps shows that these people hadn't a chance of being included anyway.
Actually, though, who is to say that the Rapture DIDN"T happen? Maybe the eligible few where simply much fewer than expected.
As few as six, maybe - all now listed as 'missing' by Police.
Mr Jones, among them.
------------parody------------------------
"Police said that Jones, 38, has been missing since the accident on Saturday May 21st, in which his car swerved violently killing two elderly women.
Witnesses spoke of the vehicle being "driverless" and careering without direction".
"Those two poor women didn't stand a chance", said bystander Arnold Falkner. "It is thanks only to God that more people were not injured".
The car was found to be empty except for Jones's clothing, including his underwear. Local schools have been alerted and a manhunt is in place."
------------------------
In the end, I think we can all learn from Rapture weekend. There is little to no evidence that life must be taken so seriously.
Personally, I have thoroughly enjoyed Rapture weekend.
It was never going to include me, of course, and Saturday evening found me punching my ticket to Hell anyway, following a nice meal and two bottles of wine.
You mock to soon. They Good did all go to heaven. The rest are left on Earth.
You may not have noticed, because there just weren't that many of them!

The irony here is that Harold Camping has actually disappeared :D

What were they thinking? I do have a bit of knowledge of the Bible and no where is there any actual date, in fact Jesus himself talks about it as if it will be an unexpected event, thats why he says will he even find any faith when he returns as tho there is a possibility that there may not be.To me its almost like a government conspiracy to discredit the faith of people and get their faith in the almighty dollar

Liked the news report.

The rapture happened. The expectations of the bible are impossible. Heaven has no souls direct from human corpses.

Maybe it DID happen. Now there is some conjecture I can truly appreciate and enjoy. Thanks for that.
