You mean minus Nora and minus being a drunken lush. This is a great little movie, especially considering it was made in 1931. It's a bit slow in getting started but it worth the wait.

Amazing. So many actors that would follow in William Powell's career. The great Eugene Pallette in "My Man Godfrey"..Ralph Morgan in "Song of The Thin Man" and Helen Vinson in "The Thin Man Goes Home".
