YUP good old XL 10 D'Addario's can't be beat. Been using them for 30 years now. Probably the most inexpensive string you can buy, yet worth 2X as much as those elite type wires like Elixir which don't deliver what they promise. Save your money and use it to buy a backup set of D'addarios. They just feel right even when they age. You almost hate to change them when you have to except that you're gonna put a new set of them on anyway.
