  • Frank's experience is particularly interesting because the confounding variable of Anglo-Saxon Protestant-Italian Catholic in so-called "mixed marriages" in the 1920s-1940s makes it difficult to separate out which cultural attributes can be attributed to Protestantism and which to Catholicism. Frank's new book promises to be an important contribution to Italian-American studies. This video is a wonderful introduction to Frank's thesis.
