One thing I noticed that no one told you is that Saint Patrick was the Irish saint who rid Ireland of snakes. There are currently no species of snakes in Ireland because of Patrick. Since he fought against snakes, you could say he was the Irish Jesus. It's odd you didn't know this since you're religious.

St. Patrick was a catholic saint that introduced Christianity to Ireland thus its more of a solemn holiday there supposedly.

i know what you mean, but sometimes if you don't show any or enough interest in someone during the first encounters, they choose to avoid you. maybe it not only depends on you, but also on the type of people you want to befriend. but i guess you're right for the most-part.

i have the issue of figuring out what 'quality time' is. seems like i come across people where getting drunk or smoking weed is 'quality time', which sadly doesn't interest me. then again, i don't socialize much.
